Abstract
A medium scale, short baseline ν¯e disappearance experiment located at Braidwood Nuclear Power Station in Will County, Illinois, USA is described. The experiment will use pairs of two-zone spherical detectors with 65 tons of Gd-loaded liquid scintillator in the fiducial volume located at 270 m and 1510 m from the two-core reactor complex at Braidwood at a depth of 450 mwe. Braidwood is being designed to achieve a sin22θ13 sensitivity of 0.01.
