Abstract
Search for the Lepton Flavor Violation has a long history since the discovery of muon. The MEG experiment, a new experiment to search for the Lepton Flavor Violating decay μ→eγ, is approved and being build at the Paul Scherrer Institut, Switzerland. The status of preparations of the experiment, in particular, the liquid Xe scintillation gamma ray detector, is briefly described.
