Abstract
A brief discussion of the connection between neutrino oscillation data and predictions of neutrinoless double-beta decay half-lives is given. Two convenient figure of merit formulae are discussed in the context of the various isotopes and technologies proposed. These allow definite evaluation of the merits of the various proposed experiments. Other criteria are discussed, which in total, if applied, should give all the necessary tools for comparative evaluation.
