Abstract
We describe two on-going experiments to detect axions, light pseudoscalar particles which arise from the Peccei-Quinn solution to the Strong-CP problem. The Axion Dark Matter Experiment (ADMX) has been searching for dark-matter axions using the Sikivie microwave cavity technique. A second experiment, the Cern Axion Solar Telescope (CAST) has recently started searching for axion-like particles with a two-photon interaction which could be produced in the Sun by the Primakoff process. The most recent exclusion regions from both experiments will be presented.
