Abstract
The theoretical framework for cross section calculations of the (e, eâ²p) knockout reaction is outlined. Numerical results are presented for the exclusive 16O(e, eâ²p)15N reaction in a nonrelativistic and in a relativistic model based on the distorted wave impulse approximation (DWIA). Both nonrelativistic DWIA and relativistic RDWIA calculations are able to describe data. A consistent evaluation of different types of correlations is needed to determine the spectroscopic factors.
