Abstract
⺠This paper examines data release and adjustment process of energy intensity (EI) target of China. ⺠New insights on the comprehensiveness and transparency of EI data. ⺠Potential data bias between author's calculation and official data due to lack of constant GDP data. ⺠Proposition for improving short- and long-term EI statistical works.
