Abstract
This multicenter study suggests that progression of intimal thickening â¥0.5 mm in the first year after transplantation appears to be a reliable surrogate marker for subsequent mortality, nonfatal major adverse cardiac events, and development of angiographic CAV through five years after heart transplantation.
