Abstract
The annual scientific meeting of the Heart Failure Society of American (HFSA) brings together cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied health care workers who are interested in improving the diagnosis, treatment, quality of life, and survival of patients affected by heart failure. The meeting integrates the best of basic advances with clinical trials and outcomes observations in a single seamless forum. The meeting in Toronto, Canada, attracted close to 3,000 attendees.
