Abstract

ResumenEste caso ilustra la decisión a la que se enfrenta una empresa colombiana de ingresar a un mercado con alto potencial, en el cual su participación es casi nula.Se analizan las condiciones de la empresa, el mercado y el entorno, como paso inicial para la toma de una decisión que le puede exigir un cambio radical en sus operaciones comerciales, logísticas y de producción.

This case study illustrates the decision that a Colombian company is faced with in venturing into a large potential market, on which it has a virtually non-existent market share.It provides an analysis of the company, market, and environment conditions as an initial step to make a decision that might call for a dramatic change in the commercial, logistic, and manufacturing operations of a company.
