Abstract
Fifteen splenic biopsy specimens from a total of 212 biopsy specimens and necropsy cases of hamsters were studied for retrospective pathological reports. The incidence in the spleen was 7.1%. The most common tumors were histiocytic sarcoma, lymphoma, malignant fibrous histiocytoma and hemangiosarcoma. The non-neoplastic lesions were fibrotic nodules.268
