Abstract
ⶠSevere leaf harvest affected population structure and individual attributes. ⶠPopulation growth rates did not differ from or were slightly larger than unity. ⶠStasis was the component that most contributed to lambda values. ⶠProduction of cones and recruitment were lowest under severe annual leaf harvest. ⶠSustainable use of Dioon merolae should be based on moderate leaf harvest.
