Abstract
▶ Stands thinned and regularly burned stored more carbon in live trees. ▶ Untreated wildfire-burned stands stored more carbon in dead trees and fuels. ▶ Untreated wildfire-burned stands had greater net carbon storage than treated stands. ▶ Treatments have potential to mitigate global climate change.
