Abstract
â¶ Stands thinned and regularly burned stored more carbon in live trees. â¶ Untreated wildfire-burned stands stored more carbon in dead trees and fuels. â¶ Untreated wildfire-burned stands had greater net carbon storage than treated stands. â¶ Treatments have potential to mitigate global climate change.
