Abstract
ⶠFire strongly reduced snail diversity and species richness. ⶠForest species living in the humus were particularly impacted. ⶠPostfire management produced variation in habitat structure according to different levels of wood removal. ⶠWe found slight differences within the postfire practices due to the strong impact of fire. ⶠThere was a positive response of generalist snail species in areas with accumulation of wood debris.
