Abstract
ⶠEffects of whorl-wise and proleptic pruning on growth of wild cherry have been studied. ⶠPruning methods and intensities are not affecting height growth. ⶠDiameter growth is strongly and immediately affected after pruning. ⶠDBH-increment losses can be reduced by applying special pruning methods. ⶠVitality of secondary shoots can be influenced significantly by pruning methods.
