Abstract
ⶠIndividual-tree, mixed-effect models were effective at predicting diameter growth. ⶠModels highlight the importance of competitive position as a growth predictor. ⶠStandwise calibration improved model prediction. ⶠSingle tree and three tree calibration yield a similar quality of prediction.
