Abstract
▶ Individual-tree, mixed-effect models were effective at predicting diameter growth. ▶ Models highlight the importance of competitive position as a growth predictor. ▶ Standwise calibration improved model prediction. ▶ Single tree and three tree calibration yield a similar quality of prediction.
