Abstract
â¶ We modeled mature hardwood forest locations using presence-only data. â¶ Fine-scale geographic data was superior to coarse-scale data for modeling. â¶ Nationally available GIS data was sufficient to identify mature hardwood forest. â¶ We identified thresholds that identified occurrences while rejecting non-occurrences.
