Abstract
ⶠPositive but not consistent net effect of biodiversity on aboveground tree N and P pools. ⶠTree species strongly varied in their N and P use efficiencies. ⶠThree species mixtures showed lower P use efficiencies compared to monocultures or six-species mixtures. ⶠEnvironmental conditions explained 58% of the variation in aboveground N and P pools.
