Weighted analysis methods for mapped plot forest inventory data: Tables, regressions, maps and graphs

▶ This paper lays out weighted estimation methods for producing tabular, graphical and regression estimates from FIA data. ▶ The methods suggested produce inferences from tables, graphs and regressions that are compatible. ▶ These methods are being used in online tools for forest carbon estimates. ▶ Therefore, it is important that the methods be documented and scrutinized via peer review.
