Abstract
- In Sydney, more than half of the urban area is comprised of residential land use, the single largest contribution to Sydney's green space.
- Greater dwelling density leads to a decrease in both private and public green space.
- Suburbs of higher socioeconomic advantage have significantly more private green space tree cover, but slightly less public green space tree cover.
- More disadvantaged communities may have a greater reliance on public green spaces to supply many important ecosystem services.
