Abstract
⺠Point set registration in multisensor coordinate metrology is investigated. ⺠Iterative Closest Point (ICP) combined with point set augmentation is proposed. ⺠Point set augmentation improves ICP registration performance. ⺠Augmentation based on fitting makes ICP more robust to measurement error.
