Abstract
⺠We extend the taxonomy on inner and outer approximations to a DEA technology. ⺠We assume that the price data are not available. ⺠We introduce a Weak Axiom of Shadow Profit Maximization (WASPM). ⺠We derive lower and upper bounds on technical efficiency. ⺠We derive linear programs to implement these bounds.
