Abstract
⺠Infants saw schematic action-reaction sequences that reversed after habituation. ⺠Infants perceived reaction causality by 6 months, the same age as launch causality. ⺠This reaction perception appeared regardless of whether agents moved like animals. ⺠Reaction perception did not correlate with infants' goal-based perception/action either. ⺠Causal perception might be undifferentiated, not domain-specific, early in infancy.
