Abstract
⺠In this study we develop an indexing scheme for brownfield prioritization in large areas. ⺠The scheme includes three categories: environmental, smart growth and socioeconomic. ⺠Each variable is location-specific and not tied to a specific end use. ⺠We apply the scheme for the City of New Haven, CT and visualize it in GIS.
