Abstract
⺠Presence of H2O has no effect on the strongly bound chemisorption of H2 on Pt/C. ⺠Adsorption of strongly bound H2 and H2O is totally additive. ⺠No evidence of dissociative adsorption of H2O on Pt/C at experimental conditions. ⺠Steady-state CO surface coverage on Pt/C is the same regardless of presence of H2O. ⺠Presence of H2O appears to slow kinetics of CO adsorption.
