Abstract
⺠CeO2 addition in LSM cathode improves several times the power density generated by YSZ-electrolyte supported single cells co-sintered at 1350 °C. ⺠CeO2 addition in LSM modifies or reduces the La2Zr2O7 formation during the LSM-cathode and YSZ-electrolyte co-sintering at 1350 °C. ⺠1350 °C corresponds to the highest LSM-cathode and YSZ-electrolyte co-sintering temperature showing reasonable power density (over hundred mW cmâ2) and without using any buffer layer between them.
