Abstract
⺠A novel, highly integrated tubular SOFC system is characterized. ⺠High-fidelity stack model captures thermofluidic interactions in/around the stack. ⺠Radiation dominates heat transfer from small scale (<1 kW) stacks. ⺠Cell power disparities are tied to wall temperatures surrounding the stack. ⺠Typical SOFC operating strategies are altered by the highly integrated system.
