Abstract
► Durability testing was done using a Pt/Rh catalyst for autothermal reforming of JP8. ► The presence of sulfur in the fuel reduced conversion and H2 production and increased CO selectivity; stable conditions were achieved after 250 hours of operation in the presence of sulfur. ► In the absence of sulfur, deactivation was observed which primarily impacted the water gas shift reaction. ► Stable temperature and product concentrations indicated that the catalyst performance was not impacted by startup and shutdown cycling.
