Abstract
► One-step electrospinning technique was employed to fabricate V2O5 nanofibers (VNF). ► Formation mechanism of single-phase VNF is elucidated. ► Morphology shows the highly interconnected network of fibers with porous structure. ► Physical insights on electrochemical crystal structure transformation are discussed. ► Li/VNF cell exhibited the higher discharge capacity of 316 mAh g−1 at first cycle.
