Abstract
► Pb-2.2Sb alloy has better electrochemical behavior than Pb-1Sb and Pb-6.6Sb alloys. ► A cellular array of Pb-2.2Sb produced at low 0.6 °C s−1 has lower current density than dendritic array. ► Conventional casting will be more appropriate for the manufacturing of Pb-2.2Sb alloy grids.
