Abstract
ⶠThe addition of 5 at% Ti-Fe-Cr alloy significantly decreases the dehydrogenation temperature of nanostructured magnesium hydride prepared by mechanical alloying. ⶠThe dehydrogenation temperature depends on the processing condition, i.e. addition of the Ti-base alloy in the form of elemental powders or prealloyed powder. ⶠThe effect of the Ti-base alloy is discussed based on the size reduction of the primarily particles, grain refinement, formation of binary hydrides, and the presence of active sites.
