Abstract
⺠In this study we examined new synthesis of composite LiFePO4/C. ⺠Nanostructured LiFePO4/C powders were obtained at different temperatures. ⺠Heterosite FePO4 was revealed for the first time as a minor phase. ⺠The optimal powder delivered capacity of 160 mAh gâ1. ⺠Heterosite FePO4 phase also participated in electrochemical reactions.
