Abstract
⺠Operated Li-ion cells develop a temperature gradient inside the electrode stacks. ⺠Current density inhomogeneities occur in Li-ion cells due to temperature gradients. ⺠SoC inhomogeneities occur in operated LiFePO4-cells due to temperature gradients. ⺠SoC inhomogeneities persist in operated LiFePO4-cells even during relaxation.
