Abstract
⺠Equivalent electric model parameters needed to develop a control algorithm for high-power lithium-ion batteries are determined as a function of temperature and state of charge (SOC) ⺠Models of combined impedances derived to give the user a plug and chug mechanism to determine the overall impedance given SOC and temperature for high-power Li-ion battery. ⺠Paper provides insight as to the critical role temperature and SOC play on specific impedances for Li-ion batteries.
