Abstract
â¶ The addition of V2O5 enhances the densification of LSGM electrolytes. â¶ The addition of V2O5 increases the phase purity of LSGM electrolyte when sintered at 1200-1350 °C. â¶ V2O5 was not incorporated into LSGM lattice but acted as a precursor for intergranular phase. â¶ The V2O5-doped LSGM exhibits a high ionic conductivity at 700 °C over a wide range of PO2 (10â27-1 atm).
