Abstract
▶ 3D microstructure of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3−δ cathode is reconstructed by FIB-SEM. ▶ The lattice Boltzmann method is used to solve gaseous, ionic and electronic transport equations coupled with electrochemical reaction. ▶ Predicted cathode overpotentials agreed well with the experimental results except for low temperature and high current density conditions. ▶ Present method will be an effective tool for investigating local oxygen potential field inside MIEC cathodes.
