Abstract
â¶ Novel cathode material Pr2Ni0.6Cu0.4O4 with K2NiF4-type structure for SOFC was researched. â¶ The Pr2Ni1-xCuxO4 powder was synthesized by a novel glycine-nitrate process. â¶ Influence of the different sintering temperature on the microstructure and electrochemical properties were reported. â¶ A single cell based on the PNCO cathode showed a high open cicurit voltage and power density. â¶ PNCO may be a favorable candidate for cathode material of IT-SOFC.
