Abstract
▶ Acetone poisons Pd for 2-propanol electrooxidation in alkaline medium. ▶ Acetone poisoning effect is due to its competitive adsorption on Pd with 2-propanol. ▶ Pd on nickel foam electrodes are prepared by a facile chemical replacement method.
