Abstract
ⶠWe use 7 syngas to investigate the carbon deposition behavior in Ni/YSZ anode-supported cells. ⶠWe find different carbon deposition behavior at different operation temperatures. ⶠWe examine the failure process of the Ni/YSZ anode due to carbon deposition phenomenologically. ⶠWe conclude two degradation mechanisms for the cell operated at 650 °C and 750 °C, respectively.
