Abstract
ⶠNafion degradation was investigated with [H2O2] and [Fâ] in the Fenton reaction. ⶠActivation energy for H2O2 decomposition is 85 kJ molâ1 in Nafion presence. ⶠActivation energy for F- generation is 97 kJ molâ1 in the reaction. ⶠThe reaction is expressed ln(d[Fâ]/d[decomposed H2O2]) = â19.5 Ã 103 Kâ1 + 42.8. ⶠMorphological damage of Nafion also relate strongly to the reaction temperature.
