Abstract
ⶠSDC/Na2CO3 nanocomposite possesses simultaneous H+ and O2â conduction property. ⶠH+ conductivity is 1-2 orders of magnitude higher than the O2â conductivity. ⶠThe interface in composite electrolyte supplies high conductive path for proton. ⶠOxygen ions are transported through the SDC grain interiors. ⶠ“Swing Model” is proposed as a possible mechanism of superior proton conduction.
