Abstract
▶ LiFePO4/C composites were synthesized by using industrial raw materials. ▶ Polyethylene glycol was chosen as a carbon source and reducing agent. ▶ Polyethylene glycol leads to the formation of a complete carbon network. ▶ The initial discharge capacity of the cell is 150 mAh g−1 at a 0.2C-rate. ▶ The cell can sustain a 30C-rate between 4.6 and 2.0 V.
