Abstract
ⶠCarboxymethylcellulose sodium salt and carboxymethylcellulose-formate can be used as binders for MgH2 negative electrode for Li-ion batteries. ⶠThese binders help to accommodate the volume variations of metal hydride negative electrode. ⶠThese binders improve capacity retention of the MgH2 negative electrode. ⶠBest retention capacity is observed for carboxymethylcellulose-formate binder.
