Abstract
ⶠPartially fluorinated solvent increases dissolution kinetics and solubility of oxygen in non-aqueous electrolyte. ⶠUse of fluorinated solvent increases specific capacity and power capability of Li/air battery. ⶠDissolution kinetics and solubility of oxygen play more important role than the ionic conductivity and viscosity of electrolyte in determining discharge performance of Li/air battery. ⶠPC/TTFP electrolyte with low volatility can support long-term operation of Li/air cells in dry ambient environments.
