Abstract
â¶ Our paper describes in a fundamental approach a new method to make macroporous anode materials for lithium deposition/stripping. â¶ The ionic liquid allows to influence the grain size and the structure of macroporous materials. â¶ Our manuscript shows that macroporous Al can cope with the mechanical stresses during Li deposition/stripping, without losing any electrochemical activity within 10 deposition/stripping cycles.
