Abstract
▶ Comprehensive improvements were done in lithium-ion cell components. ▶ Testing of cathode, anode, and electrolyte additives was done. ▶ Novel binder candidates and electrode formulations were investigated. ▶ The new cell withstands prolonged exposure to 70 ̊C and retains performance at −20 ̊C.
