Abstract
- A novel double-sided cloth (DC) without diffusion layer was used as air-cathode in microbial fuel cells.
- Using Pt as catalyst, the maximum power density of DC cathode was similar to that obtained using carbon cloth (CC) cathode.
- The cost based on power output decreased by two orders of magnitude.
