Abstract
												- LiCoPO4 is a potentially high energy Li-ion cathode (â¼800 Wh kgâ1) which is, however, prone to capacity fading.
- Fe2+/Fe3+-substituted LiCoPO4 has been shown to have strikingly less capacity fade than LiCoPO4.
- 500 charge-discharge cycles are demonstrated with â¼80% of the initial capacity at the final cycle.
