Abstract
► TiP2O7 is synthesized by urea assisted combustion method for first time. ► Synthesized material showed phase pure structure and nano-phase in nature. ► Li/TiP2O7 cell showed, 0.5 mole Li can be reversibly inserted and extracted. ► AC/TiP2O7 hybrid super-capacitor exhibited the maximum energy density of 13 Wh kg−1.
