Abstract
⺠Codeposited PtSb on carbon black catalysts are very active for formic acid oxidation in a DFAFC. ⺠Optimum performance was obtained with a 0.29 mol fraction of Sb, which produced PtSb alloy particles with a mean diameter of 1.8 nm. ⺠The presence of alloyed Sb greatly suppressed both CO adsorption and H adsorption/desorption.
