Abstract
► The carbon fibrous mats (CFMs) have been prepared. ► Pt particles are deposited on CFMs by reducing H2PtCl6·6H2O with formaldehyde vapor. ► The Pt-CFMs electrodes exhibit higher performance than commercial Pt/C loaded on CFMs.
